Making Diesels a Career
While Stiles has always loved diesel trucks, she has also been very interested in learning how to work on them and build them up. She tells me that there is just something "super satisfying" to her about working on diesel trucks, watching the build come together, it has always kept her even more so interested in diesel trucks.
It wasn't until a close friend, who just happens to be a diesel mechanic, encouraged her to follow that passion, inspiring her to go to school to become a diesel tech.
Janissa is currently a student at Montana State University Northern in the Diesel Technology program. When she graduates she will be walking out with her bachelors degree! She has really enjoyed her classes, as the things she is learning and experiencing has only made her want to learn more and more in this profession.
Currently, her Cummins sits with nothing special done to it, performance wise. Janissa has done a few things cosmetically to it.
The truck is her daily driver and rodeo rig, with hopes once her Summer internship is over and she can begin to set her feet in her career she can begin to do more and more to her truck, and maybe even compete with it, eventually.
We are so excited for Janissa and we can't wait to watch her succeed at all of her goals and dreams!
